Interior or exterior from single rooms to whole house. All completed professionally with quality products and exceptional attention to detail.

Home Improvement

I can offer a wide range of services for general home improvement and am happy to offer installation of new interior doors, skirting boards, architraves and any other decorative trims, or new laminate, vinyl, hardwood or tile flooring as examples

Handyman Service

Covering all of those little jobs around the house from curtain pole installation to fitting new light fittings, switches or sockets, driveway or paving cleaning and plumbing repairs.

Chris is a Painter and Decorator based in Glossop and servicing the surrounding areas of the High Peak and Tameside and is the proprietor of Chris Bowes Home Renovations.

Launched in 2015 his business is based on a passion for painting and decorating with many years of practical experience. Whatever your decorating needs you can be confident that Chris has the experience and skills needed to complete the task efficiently and to the high standard you expect.

Chris has a background in Mechanical Engineering, graduating from Loughborough University in 1996. He has 17 years experience working for Rolls-Royce, within engineering, process improvement and project management. Through this he has developed a professional and reliable work ethic, an expert eye for detail and excellent customer focus. He is certified in project management and process improvement, so you can be assured that any work undertaken will be completed as agreed with a professional and personal service.
